We are using POSIM Premier on Windows Vista with at Star TSP100 printer for almost a year and a half. The last few months we have been having problems with the printer not printing a receipt (or opening the attached cash drawer) after a sale is finalized. Rebooting the computer causes the receipt to print. The problem is intermittent but sometimes happens 4 or 5 times in one day.
We have a second identical printer for off-site sales. I switched that but the problem still is there.
Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas how to fix it? I am worried that a Vista update caused to problem. Vista and the printer drivers are up to date.
I am considering doing a complete OS and POSIM reinstall but am not looking forward to it!
